Presentation and wine reception with Karnow: $40 (5:30 - 6:30 pm)
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Stanley Karnow traces the origins and progress of the war from the arrival of the first Europeans in Vietnam in the 16th century to the fall of Saigon in 1975.

Shout Out!: Dudley Randall and the Legacy of the Broadside Press
May 8 (Fri.) 11 am & 1 pm
Gloria House, professor, University of Michigan, Dearborn, and Rosemary Weatherstone, professor, University of Detroit Mercy, share the story of the founding of the Broadside Press in Detroit in 1965 by poet Dudley Randall and its contributions to the Black Arts movement, as well as a video showcasing the work of some of Broadside's most well-known authors.

Where Have All the Flower Children Gone?
May 14 (Thu.) 11 am & 1 pm
Author Sandra Gurvis puts a contemporary face on the Age of Aquarius, exploring what the upheaval of the late 1960s contributed to society and how that generation reconciles their past with the present.

A Tribute to Service
May 16 (Sat.) 1 pm
In honor of Armed Forces Day, a tribute to each of the branches of the service and the veterans of the Vietnam War, including a video showcasing the reflections of local Vietnam vets.
