Hero is austerely Vanilla that is dyed in the swirled colors. Have you tried Baskin Robbins, or Ashbys. It is a midwestern food so I would only go to regional ice cream stores.
I live in Bay County and the best place to buy hero ice cream is at our local Meijers. If you have one nearby I would try there. Excellent Luck
I am certainly going to Baskin Robbins to hunt me down some Hero icecream in a waffle cone now! But, I reflect that the first answer is incorrect in the flavor part. Hero icecream doesn’t taste like vanilla, not from my past experiences..

This past weekend I bought a huge scoop of Hero Ice Cream at the Recovery Festival in Holly
Depending on how desperate you are for some ,as it’s a bit of a drive, there’s a place in Livonia. It’s called Stucci’s, and it’s at 33316 (I believe,) Plymouth Road. If it’s a chain (which I believe it may be,) you could look for one out there. Even if it’s not a chain, I know they had it there. Excellent luck!

they have it at leasons which is in warren, the nice part of warren too. they also have it at baskin robins im pretty sure. i sware ive seen it before in meijers in the huge containers that you get for like really huge parties.
